Dollar & Thrifty Car Rental
On top of building our own site at PlacePass, we also consulted and built a beta product for Dollar Car Rental and Thrifty Car Rental. I was the sole designer tasked with outperforming their current legacy sites for the desktop and mobile platforms.
My role:
Lead Designer — Tasked with designing new desktop and mobile beta sites for Hertz sister companies Dollar/Thrifty. Our main goals were to drive conversions rates on our new beta platform, improving lighthouse site performances, and have an outperforming mobile experience.
When designing the Dollar and Thrifty beta sites, we wanted to accomplish a white label design approach so that both brands could live in the same tech environment. This would allow for easy asset changes when marketing campaigns would be switched on a routine basis.
